Redemption Breaking is a project dedicated to making real art and honest music. It is shouting angst and singing love out loud. It is speaking the Truth with all its beauty and contradictions. It is 70’s Folk meets 80’s Punk meets 90’s grit meets modern Americana. Most of all, it is the magic of creating something special for everybody listening.
The creative force behind Redemption Breaking is independent Recording Artist and Songwriter Nate Walker. Based in San Mateo California, Nate is an active member of the local songwriting community and has won multiple awards for his work. Nate’s live performances combine his powerful singing voice and unique guitar playing styles to tell honest and meaningful stories.
Origin Story: Redemption Breaking
The wall of water before me is heavy, powerful and cold. It is true and moves with unrelenting purpose toward its end. The wave breaks and in its collapse I find simplicity in the chaos that follows. I am connected with the sea and absolved of my self doubt. I am content to be as I am. This wave breaking over me is more than just water. It is my Redemption Breaking.
