Artist Bio

Redemption Breaking is a project by San Mateo Recording Artist, Nate Walker.  It is about shouting angst and singing love out loud.   It is speaking the Truth with all its beauty and contradictions.  It is 70’s Folk meets 80’s Punk meets 90’s grit meets modern Americana.  Most of all, it is a commitment to creating honest art, real music and powerful live performances.

 

Redemption Breaking received the 2025 Lennon Award and Grand Prize for Rock in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition for “The Devil Wears a Suit”.
 

The name "Redemption Breaking" comes from NorCal surfing and the power of those cold waves have to make us feel alive again.   When in doubt, paddle out.
